ELDER SELECTION SELECTION PROCESS UPDATE
Please look at the "Resources on Elders" and "Dates to Know", both listed below, to keep up with our Elder Selection Process. The Elder Selection Team will be working hard for the next two months to go through each nomination, determine a solid process, and interview each potential elder candidate. Please pray for those team members and the commitment they have made to serve this faith family. Those team members are Jon Milstead, Michael Campbell, Fhonda Goss, Tonya McCaleb, Jennie Lee, Daniel Monaghan, Rob Sevilla and Jim Davis. They will be working with the goal of completing the process by April.

DATES TO KNOW:
Sunday January 24th
- Trace Crossing members vote to adopt the Bylaws as proposed by the Bylaws Team. The Elder Selection Process begins and lasts for a period of 10 days.
Wednesday February 3rd
- The Elder Selection Process concludes. The Elder Selection Team will be introduced to the church body at our Wednesday night worship.
February - March 2010
- The Elder Selection Team will begin the process of selecting elders through personal interviews. The final team of elders will number up to seven men, but no more. That final team will be presented to the Servant Team for affirmation and then to the entire faith family for affirmation.
- Once those men who are being called as elders have been presented, any church member who would like to object to a nomination may do so by submitting a written reason for their objection to the Elder Selection Team. Any objections raised by a church member must be signed by that person. The objection process will last for 30 days.
- At the conclusion of that period, if all objections have been addressed and none remain, those men called to serve as elders will be affirmed at an affirmation service in April 2010.
